What is Indelible?
Indelible is an open-source read-it-later app and knowledge archiver. Articles, newsletters, PDFs, and EPUBs are captured in full and stored in your library permanently; videos are saved with their transcript. Links rot; your library doesn’t.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”- Full-content archiving: pages are fetched, extracted, and stored at save time. The original can disappear; your copy stays readable.
- A focused reader: clean typography, highlights, notes, and reading progress that syncs across web and mobile.
- Search that understands you: full-text and semantic search across everything you’ve ever saved.
- Mila, your AI assistant: ask questions across your library, summarize long reads, and surface related material.
- Content in, from anywhere: browser extension, email-in addresses, RSS feeds, and file uploads.
- Your knowledge tools, connected: sync to Obsidian and Notion.
Two ways to run it
Section titled “Two ways to run it”- Self-hosted: run it on your own hardware with Docker, free forever. See Install with Docker.
- Indelible Cloud: managed hosting, zero setup. Coming soon.
